Working on videos at camp is challenging. As a full time counselor, I didn’t have time to begin this project until the last week of a 7-week season. This video was filmed & edited in 5 days.

Westward Bound: An American Road Trip

Driving from Virginia to California seemed daunting, but it paid off. Watching the terrain change hour by hour continuously demonstrated America’s scenic variety. Camping in and backpacking through National Parks & Monuments reminded us how much the states have to offer.

With this video, I seek to capture the awe of this country along with some of the takeaways we each felt at the end of our trip. While there's no way a 12-minute video can do justice to all these locations, it's the best canvas I have to illustrate how beautiful this country can be.
